Now the classic Ticket to Ride board game comes with a map that will take you on a ride to the great cities of turn-of-the-century Europe. More than just a new game, play elements include Tunnels, Ferries and Train Stations. Like the American-based original, the game remains elegantly simple, can be learned in 5 minutes and appeals to both families and experienced gamers.
How to Play
Collect matching coloured train cards in order to build a route between two cities. The longer the route, the more train cards you must collect. Earn points when you finish a route and claim it on the board with your train carriages. The longer the routes, the more points they earn. Earn more points by completing Destination Cards between distant cities. Loose points if you don't complete your Destination Cards. Earn a bonus for having the longest continuous path of routes.
How is this different to classic Ticket to Ride?
There are several new rules (and game components) in Ticket to Ride Europe:
How Many Players?
This game plays equally well with the suggested range of 2 - 5 players. It makes a good 2-player game.
Is this an Expansion?
