A board game based on the best-selling novel by Frank Schätzing.
The world is facing an ecological catastrophe caused by previously unknown marine life forms. Each player represents a nation sending their scientists out to confront the threat.
The players are different nations investigating the ocean and the 'Swarm'. Players establish research stations from which they send out ships to gather water samples in the form of
swarm tiles. Researchers analyze the gathered tiles and then return them to the ocean. Endeavoring to establish contact with the Swarm-Queen, players mark the tiles that they place back into the ocean with buoys. The winner is the player who has the most research points at the end of the game. Players can also use the sea hazards to hamper their opponents' efforts (1 crab, 2 whales and 2 tsunami).
