Neuroshima Hex is a board game of tactics, where armies wage continuous battles against each other.
The world of Neuroshima Hex is that of a post-apocalypse world torn apart by a war between humans and machines. The remains of humanity took shelter in the ruins of cities and organized into small communities, gangs and armies. Conflicts between such groups are not uncommon and the reasons of such are numerous: territory, food or equipment. What is more, the ruined cities are constantly patrolled by machines.
Neuroshima Hex is a combat game of strategic placement on a hexagonal-grid board. There are four armies: the mechanical Moloch, the mutant Borgo, the guerilla Outpost and the gangs of the Hegemony. Each army has very different abilities, yet they are very well balanced, allowing for game play variety.
Contents: 175 army tiles, 4 counters, 1 gameboard, 5 army reference cards, 30 wound tokens, 10 HQ damage tokens, 10 net tokens, 55 cards with Hex Puzzles, rules

I excavated this off the shelf last night, for a quick game before the rest of us arrived and ended up playing all night.
A quick game, that is easy to set up and take down
A great aperitif, to get the blood flowing & quickly spilt

A good game, simple enough in play yet deep enough in concept and colour
The small board area means that slow play and constructionist ideals will be swept away, quickly, in a blizzard of claws, teeth & heavy machineguns on full auto
