Alternate history board game that allows you to play out a hypothetical Great War in 16th Century Europe using the inventions of Leonardo daVinci.
As the leaders of great kingdoms, the players collect income from the territories they control, raise armies of soldiers and lead them in conquest. Each round, magnificent projects, the fruit of master Leonardo's efforts, are put up for auction. Amongst these projects are some of Leonardo's most visionary designs: an armoured tank and a flying machine!
Of course, once a player owns the plans for one of Leonardo's great inventions, he still needs to build it: at a cost in gold. Armies also demand pay before they will invade a new territory, and fortifying your holdings costs even more money. Earning more money depends on successfully expanding your holdings and building more fortifications.
Technology gives a player a huge advantage, but these new machines are untested and unpredictable. Will your new tank rout the enemy, or will a malfunction annihilate your own army? Will your airplane destroy the enemy's formations, or lose control and crash before the battle begins? You won't know until the battle lines are drawn.
At the end of each round, players earn Victory Points based on their accomplishments and the territories they control. The first player to earn 30 Victory Points wins the game!
