A British-built biplane fighter, introduced in the 1930's and used by the RAF during the early days of WWII. It fought against stronger foes during the early days of the WW2, but it acquitted itself reasonably well in combat.
This is a model of the aircraft piloted by Marmaduke “Pat” Pattle, an RAF fighter ace credited with the highest score in a Gloster Gladiator.
