Dare to discover Forbidden Island! Join a team of fearless adventurers on a do-or-die mission to capture four sacred treasures from the ruins of this perilous paradise. Your team will have to work together and make some pulse-pounding manoeuvres as the island will sink beneath you with every step! Race to collect the treasures and make a triumphant escape before you are swallowed into the watery abyss!

As the game progresses, players move around the richly illustrated set of island tiles trying to collect the cards needed to recover the four treasures; but they must also help to shore up the sinking segments of the island, as two or more Flood cards are revealed on every player's turn. If a treasure location sinks then the game is lost. Having a player go under when a section sinks (and not be able to swim to safety) is also a loss. There are many ways to lose and players must work together to ensure a victory.
