Loading... Please wait...In 1289, King Philip the Fair decided to strengthen the borders of the Kingdom of France by building a new castle at Caylus. For the time being, Caylus is but a humble village, but soon, workers and craftsmen will be flocking by the cartload, attracted by the great prospects. Around the building side, a city is slowly rising up.
In this game, the players act as building supervisors whose mission is to build the new castle. To accomplish this, they'll have to manage their money, the available resources and above all else develop the economy of the little village which extends to the foot of the building site. Of course, the royal agents - the bailiff and the provost - keep a watchful eye on the progress of the work !
