Loading... Please wait...So you're all boastful heroes telling tall tales of your adventures in the tavern. You're not heroes, but you talk a good yarn, so with every outrageous boast comes the danger of someone playing a Liar! card and downgrading the boast to something much less impressive (though usually much funnier).
On their turn, each player can draw more cards or make a boast, which must consist of a Deed (what you did) and a Foe (who the deed was done to). Optionally, a boast can include a Scene (where it happened) and a Result (the outcome).
Example of a boast:
Scene: While travelling the frozen wastes and roaming bitter seas...
Deed: I summoned the four elements to vanquish...
Foe: mysterious creatures from beneath the desert sands
Result: And now I've been offered the post of King's Champion
Once a boast is made any other player can replace any part of the boast to downgrade it. For example the Foe could become:
Foe: An angry looking chicken
This means the boast is less impressive and will score fewer points. It also produces some hilarious outcomes.
