Age of Industry is a development of the highly rated Martin Wallace game, Brass. This is a pure business board game where you must seek the most efficient way to make a profit. By investing in a variety of industries, you will make the money needed to invest in the most advanced ones. You must judge the market conditions well to determine which industries will give you the best return. Cotton and factories will certainly earn you money, but if you ignore coal mining and iron production then you may be allowing another player to earn profits from your activities. You have to consider whether to build ports to increase you profits from selling, and whether to invest in ships to open up new markets.

Age of Industry includes a double-sided board map so you can play either in Germany or New England, with each map representing a different challenge. Treefrog plan to release more maps in the future to vary the game even more.

Age of Industry is physically heavier than previous Treefrog games, and weighs in at just over 2kg, making it unsuitable for posting by Royal Mail (you may get an error at the checkout). It is possible that by punching out and bagging the counter sheets for you, we can get the weight down below 2kg. Please contact us if you are interested in this option.
