Bean farming was never so much fun! In Bohnanza, you start with two bean fields and a handful of bean cards to plant. You'll want to plant as many of the same variety of beans in a single field. When you sell beans, the more you grow of one variety, the more you earn. But if you have a new variety in your hand, you'll have to find somewhere to plant them: either plough up the the crop you have already cultivated, or sell them at at lower price. You can always use the gold you've earned to buy a third bean field.To get rid of beans you don't want to plant, you trade them with other players. With clever trading, you can get the cards you want without helping the other players too much. In the end, the player who eans the most gold from their beans is the winner.
This, already expanded game, has 11 bean varieties: enough for 7 players, but it also has a special variation for just 2 players.
