Build the city of Arkadia: decid on the ground plan and the site of the buildings. Use you workers carefully and observe the other players to be the most successful architect of Arkadia.
How to Play
Each player receives some building cards and a small stock of workers.
On a player's turn they can either place a building or place workers next to a building. When a building is placed, a coloured seal is put on top. Once that building is completely surrounded by workers, other buildings, or the board edge, whoever surrounded it gets the seal on the building. In addition, anyone with workers on the edge of that building gets a seal of the same colour per worker.
In the centre of the board is a castle. When a building is surrounded, the player also gets to add a piece to the castle. Each castle piece has a colour on top matching the seal colours. Each seal is worth, in gold, however many of its colours are showing on top of the castle. So the values of the seals are constantly changing.
Each player has four architect's banners that they must hand in to exchange the coloured seals for gold (remember: each seal is worth, in gold, however many of its colours are showing on top of the castle). Players must time the cashing in of their seals carefully.
Whoever has the most gold at the end of the game, wins.
