The stags of Antler Island are getting ready for the rutting season. only the smartest and strongest will catch the eye of the beautiful does as they head toward the best breeding grounds. Always remember , its not how big your antler is, but what you do with it that counts.
The game board is a three-tier island. Each plays a stag during the annual rut where they live for food, fighting and females. The object of the is to be the dominant stag on the island. During each round, players can choose one of four actions for their stag: Move, Eat, Grow Antlers and err.. enjoy life with the does of the island. If two stags occupy the same space, they will fight.
Antler Island comes from the Scottish game company, The Lamont Brothers, who are gaining a reputation for not only interesting and entertaining, but they come with beautiful animal figures - just look at the stag below!
Parent Note: While Antler Island is suitable for family play, parents playing with younger children may prefer to refer to "kissing" rather than "matting".
